Burberry Prorsum a/w 2010

Last season Burberry Prorsum delivered an exquisite collection that was not only one of my favorites but it was also a favorite amongst the likes of Vogue and Elle. Burberry Prorsum's s/s 2010 collection was definitely a front-runner when it came to one of the biggest trends of the season "candy floss colours" that mixed a pastel palette with delicate and light fabrics.
So, the pressure on Christopher Bailey to deliver another trend-setting collection for a/w 2010 was intense. But, I think he's managed it.
Although Military was last seasons trend (fronted by Balmain) its seems Christopher Bailey has taken elements from this trend and expanded upon it to bring us what all the high street stores will be copying. The collection features a range of heavy military and aviator jackets inspired by world war two balanced out with wispy lace and sophisticated tailoring.

One of this Autumns big buys trend forecasters say will be the aviator jacket (pictured above) Christopher Bailey along with other designers have incorporated this trend into their a/w 2010 collections and it won't be long before high street designers catch on and we will see the likes of "the new military" in our high street stores. If you want to get a step ahead you can purchase original vintage aviator jackets from vintage stores, car boot sales or even on ebay.

heres the collection ^^^^
